    We cover some of the functionality of existing CDP solutions, such as Segment. By creating a UI which specifically encompasses the ideas of "Sources" and "Destinations", along with building out more of the integrations, we can turn PostHog into a leading CDP solution.

Recently shipped

You can now save lists as static cohorts

Marius has been busy making his own programming language recently, but he still found the time to sneak this in. You can now save a list of people or groups as a static cohort.

Obviously this is handy for making cohorts more quickly, but in the future Marius plans to build on it further. Coming soon is the ability to save an HogQL query as a static cohort if it returns a person_id column.

After that, the ability to save it as a dynamic cohort!

Q4 objectives

😍 Widespread usage of the new CDP

  • Generally available to all customers
  • All of our legacy destinations are removed, simplifying the stack

📤 Messaging V1 (for real this time)

  • Build on top of CDP destinations to solve the core challenges of orchestrated messaging workflows
  • Requirements gathering - what do we need to build here
  • Internal workflows typically built on other tools are now built in PostHog

🧱 Ingestion is rock solid

  • Exception ingestion gets out the door and is ready to scale
